Donald Trump's Biographer Claims he was kicked off his Golf Course

Trump kicks biographer off golf course

His former wife Ivana Trump said he had raped her although later she said she was talking metaphorically about the incident.

But it appears that three decades has not been sufficient to cool Mr Trump's ire. Hurt got in one last barb, too, saying via Facebook that Emerald Dunes "is a much, much better golf course than Trump International". We were chatting on the putting green, it was the first time I'd worn knickers and made a joke about it, and Donald laughed and he said, "I hope you enjoy the golf course". "Really rough. That s**t you wrote'".

Hurt accused Trump of booting him and his party - including billionaire Republican mega-donor David Koch - from the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach after he wandered over to congratulate him on the election win. David Koch left of his own accord.

A source close to Koch told the New York Post: "David was not present during the exchange between the President-elect and Harry Hurt and at no time was David asked to leave".

But, if you want to know the details. there's a lot of he said/he said, a lot of "according to", and, well, don't say we didn't warn you.

Trump officials declined to comment on the matter, but Hurt did recount his side of the story. I thought he was kidding.

Asked by CNN why he wanted to play at Mr Trump's course, or shake hands with him, he said he wanted to show respect to the office of the "president of the United States".

Damgard said that "rather than exacerbate something that wasn't going to go very well, we just chose to get into the auto and leave". And Damgard told CNN that neither he nor Koch were aware of Hurt's book. She strongly supported her ex-husband in his presidential bid.

But Damgard took issue with Hurt's claim that they were escorted off the course by Trump's security detail.

In a post on Hurt's Facebook page over the holiday weekend, the biographer, whose book Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump has been out of print for years, described the episode in the third person.

We've played both courses.
