Conte takes full responsibility of Chelsea's loss

It's on: EPL title race heats up as Chelsea loses at United

The FC crew talk tactics in the United v Chelsea match, and how Manchester shut down Chelsea's free-flowing style.

Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera were on target, as Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday to throw the Premier League title race wide open.

"You would still have to fancy Chelsea with the run-in that they've got".

The decisions paid off brilliantly, with Rashford and Herrera scoring the goals and being the star performers at Old Trafford.

Chelsea were successfully nullified, failing to register a single shot on target in a league game for the first time since 2007, and now lead second-place Tottenham Hotspur by just four points. Hazard barely had a meaningful touch.

Herrera, who denied deliberately handling the ball prior to setting up Rashford's opener, said United's display had been "almost perfect".

Chelsea might be starting to wobble.

"This is a game between two teams that are in contention to win the league this season".

Conte said, "We didn't play a good game and United deserved to win the game".

Still, the pressure is certainly on the leaders now.

We must understand this and find the right motivation.

"If we win our games it doesn't matter what Tottenham do".

Ashley Young is unsure of what the future holds at Manchester United but insists his hunger for the game remains as strong as ever. The Manchester rivals meet at City's Etihad Stadium on April 27. So I'm really happy for the boys because we keep two windows open to play Champions League football.

The visitors were left frustrated by the first goal, though, with Chelsea claiming Herrera had handled in the build-up.

A curling Pedro shot deflected over as Chelsea looked to reduce the deficit, although Rashford's strength and willingness could have brought a third had he made a cleaner connection with his shot.

Mauricio Pochettino saw his side lose to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge 2-1, but then secured all three points back at the Lane with a 2-0 win and will be hoping for a repeat of that.

The United manager remains adamant United would have beaten Chelsea had Herrera stayed on and explained how he tactically outclassed the visitors' coach Antonio Conte.

Chelsea which led by 11 points in February now have 75 points while Spurs have 71, with six matches to go.

United's unbeaten run in the league extended to 22 games.

"They've been fantastic, they've been winning games regularly". There was a sense of irony that West Brom ended up getting undone in that department, with James Milner's free kick being flicked on by Lucas Leiva for Firmino to head home at the far post.
