Game of Thrones Season 7 Photos are Here!

Check Out the Epic First Official Photos From Game of Thrones Season 7

The year-plus span between Season 6 and Season 7 was the result of timing: episodes usually shoot during during the second half of the previous year that season bows; Season 7 was delayed because the storyline required a longer period of shooting in winter conditions.

HBO released a lovely bundle of Game of Thrones Season 7 photos on Thursday, and there's a lot of exciting stuff to look at in the 15 production snaps. Cersei and Jaime's incestuous relationship has been a focal point of the popular HBO series, and now that Jaime found his way back to the kingdom, it looks like the two will pick right back up where they left off. Additionally, the due to the fact that the castle was built using advanced Valyrian techniques, and that it is located in an isolated location, it would also be easy for Danny's army - and perhaps her dragons - to defend from attacks.

The show is based on the novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin. That makes Season 7 even more exciting as GOT fans await this installment to answer so many questions about how the kingdoms will change hands and who will be left standing at the end.
