Putin-linked Russian org designed plan to influence US election results?

Russian state TV anchorman Dmitry Kiselyov

Russian President Vladimir Putin said only the Russian people would choose their successor through the election process.

"If we are to understand the words of the USA vice president as a threat to use force unilaterally, it is course a very risky course of action", Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in comments broadcast on state TV on Monday. They alleged that the papers were central to the Barack Obama administration's conclusion that Russian Federation had launched a "fake news" campaign and had been behind cyber attacks against the Democratic Party and its candidate Hillary Clinton's campaign.

"Putin had the objective in mind all along, and he asked the institute to draw him a road map", according to one former senior USA intelligence official.

Putin has denied interfering in the USA election.

"Railway trains loaded with military equipment moving towards Primorsky region via Khabarovsk have been noticed by locals", the Russian website Primemedia.ru said in a commentary on the video clip showing trains moving armored vehicles and tanks reportedly toward Russia's border with North Korea. There is no evidence thus far that Trump or his associates knew about Russia's effort during the campaign.

At that time, Trump's campaign rhetoric was peppered with calls for a new US foreign policy approach that would see Washington walking back in its role as world policeman.

The seven USA officials told Reuters that one of the documents was a strategy paper drafted in June 2016 that advocated a propaganda campaign on various media platforms urging us voters to back a presidential candidate with a friendlier stance toward Russian Federation.

Russian military command did not comment on the troop movements, but experts believe the forces will be on hand ifconflict erupts between Kim and US President Donald Trump.

"Today, even as the global agenda continues to be important, equally urgent are Russia's domestic problems ..."

"And by the way, it's not the first pack of lies we're hearing from "sources in USA official circles", the spokesperson said in an email.

The clever scam is related to the 2016 presidential election and is also meant to undermine the elector's trust when it comes to the American electoral system, reports Reuters. The officials said the hacking was a covert intelligence operation run separately out of the Kremlin.

Neither of the Russian institute documents mentioned the release of hacked Democratic Party emails to interfere with the us election, according to four of the officials.

It was not immediately clear how the documents were obtained by USA officials from the RISS.

When the documents were written, the report said, Leonid Reshetnikov served as the think tank's director and previously spent 33 years in Russia's foreign intelligence service.

- Both China and Russian Federation believe President Trump is willing and capable of ordering a strike on North Korea.

He was responding to a question from a veteran of the Soviet Union's campaign in Afghanistan who complained that a well known Russian senator was telling everyone that Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the State Duma, the lower house of parliament, would soon be president.
