Trump's First Oversees Trip As President

Muslim pilgrims circle the Kaaba Islam's holiest shrine at the Grand Mosque in the Muslim holy city of Mecca Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is making every effort to dazzle

On his first foreign trip as president of the United States, Mr Trump will visit the Middle East, aiming to restore America's traditional alliances in this part of the world.

According to The Independent, former President Barack Obama sold $60 billon worth of arms to Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is making every effort to dazzle and impress President Donald Trump on his first overseas trip. "Riyadh agrees with US' administrative view in regard to the role placed by the United States in uprooting terrorism", Al-Jubeir said.

A forthcoming major speech in Saudi Arabia by Donald Trump on the need to confront radical Islam is being drafted by an advisor who devised the "Muslim ban" policy which was blocked by the U.S. courts, according to reports.

This is said against the backdrop of the President's proposed travel bans against people from several Muslim-majority countries, which are now still mired in the courts.

While Washington digs into why President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey and what a new special counsel at the Justice Department will try to learn about Trump associates and Russian Federation, the president is jetting off. Trump will try to leave his troubles behind him tomorrow as he departs on the first foreign trip of his presidency.

Mr Trump's views on the Iran nuclear deal - which is now under a United States government review - could cause tensions during the European portion of the visit. Senior administration officials have also criticised Iran's support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, its ballistic missile activities and backing for militant groups in the region.

Keith, who played at Trump's pre-inaugural celebration, will be performing in the Saudi capital of Riyadh on Saturday, his publicist confirmed to NBC News.

Saudi leaders regularly accuse Iran of stirring regional conflicts by supporting Shiite movements in Syria, Iraq and Bahrain as well as in Yemen.

During the presidential campaign, Trump proposed to ban all Muslims from entering the USA and claimed he saw Muslims "clapping and cheering" as the Twin Towers fell on September 11, 2001, in a claim that has been disputed. "It wasn't the Iraqis, it was Saudi - take a look at Saudi Arabia, open the documents".

Although he kept a gruelling schedule as a presidential candidate, Trump is fond of being home at night, often flying back to NY after campaign events to sleep in his own bed. Fifteen of the 19 attackers were from Saudi Arabia.

On April 7, one day after a U.S. decision and a military action in Syria, Trump informed King Salman through a phone call about the limited military operation in the war-torn country and they agreed that it was essential to respond to the chemical attack against innocent civilians.

The summit will address three critical areas of concern: US-Saudi relations, US-GCC relations and Islamic-American relations. The centerpiece of the president's visit to Brussels is now a tour of the new North Atlantic Treaty Organisation building, which will open in about a year.

The kingdom's control of the holy sites has been criticized by Muslims around the world.
