Union Station's advertisement screen played porn videos

Porn displayed on video screen at Union Station

The evening rush hour proved to be a bit more titillating than usual for commuters at Washington, D.C.'s Union Station on Monday, when an advertising screen suddenly started showing explicit porn videos.

The sexually explicit content lasted for around three minutes and was reportedly streamed from the site PornHub.

A video of the shocking incident quickly went viral after it was uploaded to Twitter. Some people stopped, stared and snickered, while others cautiously approached the screen, trying to figure out how to turn it off.

"What the hell is this?" shouted one bemused man.

But she said she was "pretty speechless" when the video switched to the porn. I couldn't believe this was happening in public and especially during rush hour, ' she said.

"Pornhub is accessed by almost 75 million fans across the world each day".

A video of the incident was posted to social media, and has since been deleted, according to The Post.

Beverley Swaim-Staley, president and CEO of the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation, says an ad board near the Metro train entrance played pornographic videos Monday.

"We've asked them to investigate to make sure this doesn't happen again", she said.

The screens were installed several months ago, and an official with the station's management told the Post that the screen in question will remain off until an investigation is complete.

Shockingly it's not the first time porn has been played in inappropriate places.
