Jay Z Announces New Album '4:44' For June 30

Looks Like The 4:44 Hype Could Be Building Up To A New Jay Z Album

This will be Jay Z's first album since Magna Carta Holy Grail was released back in 2013.

The record, which has been teased for several weeks, is set to be released on June 30 exclusively to members of his streaming service Tidal and USA phone network Sprint.

As part of the US campaign, Tidal and Sprint have pledged support to the 1Million Project, an educational initiative from Sprint and the Sprint Foundation that will assist 1 million low-income USA high school students who aren't connected to the Web at home. You can listen to it below.

The announcement followed the news of his wife Beyonce giving birth to twins. Fans are noting that if you go to Sprint.com and click on their Tidal promo, it takes you to a message which states, "Get exclusive access to JAY-Z's new album".

The first tweet tagged Jay Z and posted a 30-second-long black-and-white clip from the video of one of the album's songs, featuring the Moonlight star Mahershala Ali. I'm not really sure of the details of his project in that sense, but we worked on some music together.

"Well, I did some work with him for some stuff he's working on".
