Kamal Haasan

ANI tweeted, "Security enhanced at Haasan's residence following Bigg Boss Tamil controversy&him publicly revealing victim's name in Malayalam actress case".

"He (Kamal Haasan) can't be booked by us but someone else like the victim herself or fans can lodge a protest".

Reportedly, Kamal took the name of the heroine, who was the victim of "sexual assault" and said that media should not hide her name especially after she had come out in open and filed a case against her wrongdoers.

"For me, not just the safety of actress but every single person is important". Social media users are also concerned about the unparliamentary language used in the show.

Yesterday we reported that The Hindu Makkal Katchi has demanded a ban on the Tamil version of a popular reality show Bigg Boss. You have put out her name everywhere. If you want to call her Draupadi, call her Draupadi, don't call her by a female. "Don't refer to her as "a female", he asserted. "It is very arrogant to say that somebody else has said it so I will say it too", she said, adding that the letter would be sent soon.

The popular Malayalam actress, who has worked in Tamil and Telugu films, was abducted and allegedly molested inside her auto for two hours by the accused, who had forced their way into the vehicle on February 17 and later escaped in a busy area here. Carrying saffron flags and raising slogans, the protestors demanded arrest of Haasan, accusing him of tarnishing the image of Tamil culture.

According to the HMK, this show is responsible for segregating the Indian people and deteriorating the sense of cultural values among the Indians.
