They rushed to pull him back, followed shortly by the PT teacher. He climbed the third-floor railing of the balcony and tried to jump off of the school premises. The school principal, Sangeeta Podar, asserted that the boy's parents and the police were informed immediately after the incident.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rupesh Kumar Dwivedi said that according to preliminary investigation, the teen had been "playing" the Blue Whale challenge on his father's phone for days, without his parents' knowledge. The logic Budeikin arrived at before inventing this game and killing little kids is that depressed people are biological waste and he is cleaning the world by making them commit suicide.

Blue Whale Challenge is a notorious internet game that has claimed around 150 lives in Europe and Russian Federation.

The incident from Solapur is of a 14-year-old boy, who left home to complete a task given to him in the online game "Blue Whale Challenge", and was rescued by the police on his way to Pune, PTI reported.

Once you sign up for the game, which originated in Russian Federation, it will assign you daily tasks to complete for 50 days.

There are numerous posts online now, but the trend first made news when a Russian schoolgirl posted an image of a blue whale on Instagram and committed suicide by jumping off a 14-storey building.

The game was created by Philipp Budeikin, a Russian, who admitted that he had convinced about 16 girls to end their lives.

The Blue Whale Game also "Blue Whale Challenge" is an Internet "game" allegedly comprising a series of tasks assigned to players by administrators during a 50-day period, with the final challenge requiring the player to commit suicide.

"Do something handsome at least once in your life, it is so good to die young". "Victims were "happy to die" and I am "cleansing society", Budeikin told police when he was arrested in May this year.
