Paris Saint-Germain put Serge Aurier up for sale

Man Utd on verge of fourth summer signing as £27m defender agrees five-year deal

Aurier is now appealing an assault conviction that now bans him from entering the UK. Today, Man Utd close-in on Serge Aurier....

That didn't stop Manchester United from coming to terms with Aurier, according to Paris United's response to Di Marzio's tweet.

Paris Saint-Germain are alleged to have put defender Serge Aurier up for sale, according to reports.

However, the Manchester Evening News claim United's interest in Aurier has been "overstated".

He is allegedly on his way to Old Trafford this summer as Jose Mourinho aims to strengthen his defensive options.

But the Daily Mirror isn't so sure, pointing out that Aurier "is now banned from entering the UK" having been found guilty of assaulting a police officer outside a Paris nightclub previous year.

The 24-year-old will provide more options for Mourinho at right-back, with Antonio Valencia now filling the role and Matteo Darmian also an option.

"He's lost his place at PSG because they've got a new right-back, Dani Alves, and he's likely to leave Paris this summer".

If he's successful with his appeal and is granted entry to the United Kingdom, then Aurier is set to become Jose Mourinho's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof.

Elsewhere and the Daily Star says that Inter Milan are poised to make a proposition to United concerning Ivan Perisic.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly told the club to offer £100 million for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.
