Tim Tebow does it for the fans

Tim Tebow Smashes Three Run Homer Immediately After Greeting Autistic Fan In Crowd

Tim Tebow has been a huge hit in the minor leagues.

Now, he's added a heartwarming highlight, this time on the baseball diamond.

Tim Tebow gave one of his fans a very special gift.

Young Seth Bosch had left his seat by his parents and made his way down to the backstop netting and waved at Tebow. The 10-year-old (who was 9 at the time the video was filmed) has high-functioning autism and suffers from a genetic disorder known as neurofibromatosis that produces tumors on his nerve tissue. But when Tebow's squad visited the Charlotte Stone Crabs in Port Charlotte, Florida, on July 29, he simply raised the bar.

New York Mets prospect Tim Tebow makes an autistic boy's day by greeting him prior to smacking a three-run home run.

Cue the tears and the plinky-plunky music.

They shook hands, exchanged a quick hello, and then Tebow got back to work.

"When Seth came back to his seat, he was crying", the boy's mother, Ileanna Bosch, told Tampa Bay Times columnist Martin Fennelly, who first reported the story. Tebow stepped into the batter's box and clubbed a home run. The former quarterback, 29, has hit a bit of a slump at the plate in August, but that certainly pales in comparison to the impact he made on this young fan's life. "I started crying, to", she recalled. Seth Bosch began waving to Tebow and asking him to come over. "I think God brought Seth and Tim together".
