Tom Cruise injured in Mission Impossible stunt

Leap of faith Aged 55 Hollywood action man Tom Cruise is showing no signs of slowing down after being spotted leaping from rooftop to rooftop in London on Saturday

While he's known for pulling off some epic stunts in films like The Mummy and the Mission: Impossible films, a new report has emerged that states actor Tom Cruise suffered an injury on the set of Mission: Impossible 6.

As Radar's video of the superstar actor shows, he performed the risky stunt on Sunday but wound up limping afterwards after landing hard.

He tried to leap from a rigging next to one building onto another building. However, Cruise appears to miss the mark and winds up slamming hard into the side of the building.

The latest part of the franchise is now being filmed in London and is expected to arrive in cinemas on July 27, 2018. The cast includes Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Michelle Monaghan, Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Alec Baldwin.

Earlier this year, Cruise revealed the title for the upcoming Top Gun sequel as Top Gun: Maverick in reference to the character he played in the original film. During the famous Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation stunt that had Cruise hanging on the outside of a plane, the actor was hit by a runway particle.
